For general safety the groundbreaking ceremony will not be open to the public and will be limited to 10 people maximum.
According to the press release "Centricity Credit Union and the Hermantown School District signed an agreement for the credit union to acquire the naming rights to the new stadium. This marketing investment allows the process to move forward and be completed this summer and secures Centricity Credit Union the naming rights until 2035."
Along with naming rights to the stadium Centricity Credit Union will work closely with the Hermantown School District to provide financial education for the students. Centricity Credit Union has been very active with Hermantown schools over the years and with this latest partnership it surely will help students thrive both on and off the field.
Having a top notch facility for all these students will be such a fantastic addition to the programs at these schools, and it is great to see a local business so involved in the community and who are able to facilitate these type of projects.
Kerry Juntunen, Superintendent of Hermantown Schools said in the press release
Centricity Credit Union’s commitment to the District embraces our collective mission as we ‘Partner with the community to support and prepare all learners to create their own future.’ We are so grateful to Centricity Credit Union for advancing the vision of a stadium that honors the work of student-athletes to perform in a space that matches the pride we share.
The Centricity Credit Union Stadium/Corey Veech Field will continue production during the summer of 2020. The opening celebration of the stadium will depend on the future of the school year and future high school sports.
