Hilary Duff’s ‘Sparks’ Video Doubles as a Tinder Ad
Seriously though, does Tinder have Hilary Duff on its payroll?
“I never thought I would do something like this,” Duff says in the new video for her latest single, “Sparks,” after going on a pair of Tinder dates and filming them in the name of art. “When I just surrendered to the experience, I had a great time.”
The Younger actress has been opening up about her newfound fascination with the app for a while, and now she’s revealed select footage from her blind dates, interspersed with neon-colored dance sequences. See for yourself in the video above.
“Sparks” fades in and out as the clip walks us through Duff’s Tinder exploits, and like many of us, it all started when Duff set up her profile over dinner with her friends and proceeded to spend the evening overanalyzing the weird profiles that populate the dating app and swiping left and right accordingly. The clips from the singer’s actual dates don’t offer much insight other than she took her suitors bowling and go-karting and shared some very romantic hugs.
“I want to know what it is to connect with someone and what it is that gives you those sparks,” Duff says in the clip. Hil, a word of advice: If it’s connection you’re seeking, can we recommend something that isn’t Tinder?
But who knows? Maybe Duff found the love of her life while going on Tinder dates/filming a music video.
