How You Can Help the Newtown, Connecticut Community
When our country faces natural disasters, acts of God, or other devastation, it's amazing how we can pull together. We donate our time, our money, our resources, and send our prayers. Unlike a physical devastation--it's not as easy to see what will be needed. But we do know that the community in Newtown, Conneticut needs our help.

I was horrified to find out about the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. My heart sank when I heard the news, and to be honest, I haven't felt the same since. I feel guilty that as I'm celebrating the holidays with my family, there are so many that are grieving the lives lost. Every time I stop and think about it, I can't help but cry. For the parents who have to bury their children. For the husbands who lost their wives. Students who lost their teachers, their principal. The teachers and others who lost coworkers. And the community who will forever be remembered as the one that was in the middle of a horrible nightmare on December 14th. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they are going through. They need our help.
