Billboard.com is reporting music superstar Meat Loaf has a few projects cooking, including a studio album featuring Lil' Jon and Chuck D of Public Enemy. "Hell in a Handbasket" is set to be released in February of 2012, and could quite possibly be one of the signs the world truly is ending in 2012.

Meat Loaf and Lil' Jon got to know each other during their time on The Apprentice; and the link between the 'Loaf and Chuck D comes through Meat Loaf's son-in-law, Scott Ian of the metal group Anthrax. Anthrax and Chuck D's group, Public Enemy, collaborated on the song "Fight the Power" in 1989.

In what will undoubtedly be one of the strangest collaborations in memory, Meat Loaf says this album is "the most personal record I've ever made. It's about how I feel the world's gone to hell in a handbasket."

Work is already underway on 'Handbasket', one of three albums set to come out within the next year. Hit the source link for the full story.
