The first time I ever heard of Mercury in Retrograde was from our psychic Victoria Bullis who we have on the morning show on Mix 108 every Thursday. Every time this happens she warns us and our listeners not to make any major purchases like a car or new home, don't get married, you should also not make any important moves like starting a new job or make any verbal or written commitments. Electronics and computers may  not be working right either. Seems kind of funny that Facebook was down for hours yesterday throwing many of us myself included into a tizzy.

So what exactly is Mercury in Retrograde? According to astrologyzone.com " Because Mercury is the planet situated closest to the Sun, its orbit is much shorter than Earth’s. About three or four times a year, Mercury speeds past Earth, and that is when we experience a Mercury retrograde period. The turbulence and disruption Mercury creates when it retrogrades can affect what we feel on Earth in our everyday lives."

This phase of Mercury in retrograde is March 5 – 28, 2019 in water sign Pisces,  This can effect people differently depending on your astrological sign, for Pisces this Mercury Retrograde will effect them most. All this time when Victoria would bring this up I would not say I didn't believe it, but was a little skeptical. If you believe in the fact that the earth is connected to the planets in our Solar system this may be something you pay attention too. I have a friend who got 2 flat tires on her way to work today and know many people who have had major computer problems the last few days.So hang on to your hats more dates to come this year :

July 7 – 31, 2019 starts in fire-sign Leo, ends in water-sign Cancer
October 31 – November 20, 2019 in water-sign Scorpio

So if your electronics are acting goofy or your computer is not working properly this could all be part of the problem. This theory has been around for thousands of years and unfortunately the more technologically advanced our society becomes the more vulnerable we are for things to not work properly. Am I totally sold on this theory, well let's just say after doing a little research I believe in it more than I have in the past.
