It’s Almost Time for The 28th Annual Thanksgiving Day Buffet at The DECC

This annual event is free of charge and is put on by The College of St. Scholastica every year. This meal helps assure that people in need or who are unable to prepare a Thanksgiving meal will be able to enjoy delicious food prepared by an army of volunteers.

The Buffet is Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23 From 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, in the City Side Convention Center. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend and the biggest crowd tend to come early, so please make plans accordingly.

Monica Hendrickson the Thanksgiving Day Buffet Organizer said that they have rearranged the set up inside the DECC to decrease the wait time to get your food. The DTA will also be providing free shuttle service to the DECC that day.

If you are a shut-in, or know someone who is, they can arrange for a home-delivered meal on Thanksgiving Day. Please call (218) 723-6484 and listen carefully to the directions. All reservations are due by Friday, Nov. 17, 2017.
