It’s Time Again for the 25th Annual Free Turkey Dinner at the DECC
For the 25'th year a free turkey dinner will be served at the DECC for free, to families, friends and individuals who will gather together to celebrate and have a delicious meal .
Turkey with all the fixings will be prepared thanks to countless volunteers and community members who make this all possible. Plus 1,500 people who registered ahead of time will get a meal delivered right to there homes. Free shuttles will be available thanks to the DTA as well, call 722-SAVE (7283) for bus schedule or go online at duluthtransit.com Diners will be shuttled from the Holiday Center to the DECC and from other locations listed below:
Duluth:
- CHUM Drop-In Center
- Damiano Center
- Downtown Shuttle/TCE
Superior:
- Royalton Manor
- 14th and Tower
- Clifford Lund Apartments
- Solid Rock Mission
Below are the times the meal will be served along with some of the outer locations:
- Duluth – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the DECC
- Carlton – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public House (Formerly Cozy Café), 214 Chestnut Ave.
- Cloquet – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 615 12th St.
- Two Harbors – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Two Harbors Moose Lodge, 709 First Ave.
