Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub Shines On ‘Best Of The Midwest’ List

St. Patrick's Day is definitely one of the best holidays. There's no secret it's basically a big party with green beer, cheer and everyone having some fun.

It is also famous for its food. Items like corned beef, bangers and mash, soda bread and Irish stew are some of the staples. It's a big day for pigging out and stuffing yourself silly. It's all just so good.

Food and celebration come together for this holiday, and some businesses are truly born for it. Of course, an Irish pub is the best place to ring in the holiday. They know what they are talking about!

A new list, released this month just in time for the holiday, has named the best pubs for the holiday in the midwest and a Duluth staple made the list.

This list was put together by an online site called Best Of The Midwest. This is an extra special title to get considering that the list only has six pubs on it! That means Dubh Linn really shined. This is a well-deserved honor.

If you've ever been there on the holiday, you know they bring out their made-from-scratch menu of Irish classics and of course, they have green beer, which is a must on St. Patrick's Day.

So why did Dubh Linn stand out against the others? Best Of The Midwest cites their 'dark, warm pub atmosphere' and of course, the food I have been talking about. They also cite their whiskey list and the fact that they have the largest selection of Irish whiskey and single malt scotch in the state. Woah!

They also go ALL OUT for their St. Patrick's Day celebration, so that makes the pub all the better to truly have a fun celebration. We go as a staff every St. Patrick's Day and it's always a blast. Okay, now I am hungry. Congrats to the pub for this honor!

Other spots that made the list include Blarney's in Mitchell, Blarney Stone in Fargo and Olde Brick House in Rochester. So many places to celebrate, so little time.
