
Recall Issued For Kirkland Signature Item Sold At Costco
If you're a Costco lover, listen up. There's been a recall issued for Kirkland Signature products because of potential listeria contamination. Western United Fish Company dba Annasea Foods Group of Kent, Washington, is recalling 3,314.7 pounds of their Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke.
The green onions used in the product could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The organism can cause people to become very ill, and can even be fatal for young children, the elderly, or people with weakened immune systems. Listeria infection can be very serious for pregnant women and can cause harmful complications.
Symptoms include high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

The Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke product was sold in Costco deli sections on September 18, 2025. The Pack Date is 9/18/2025, and the Sell By Date is 9/22/2025.
It was sold at Costco's locations in the following states:
Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Consumers are advised to dispose of the product immediately or return it to Costco for a full refund.
