Tell us something we don't know! Duluth just received another amazing title and it's a title that I couldn't agree with more.

We all know Duluth is a busy tourist destination in Minnesota, which means most Minnesotans have caught on to the fact that the Zenith city is amazing.

However, it looks like a lot of outsiders are catching on: Duluth was just named one of the best places to live in the entire midwest.

Duluth was given this title by Livability.com, a website dedicated to helping people interested in moving to find the best places to live and work.

Duluth came in at number 21 on this list, with the study citing first and foremost, the famous North Shore and the scenic drive that goes along with it. We can't argue there.

If you've driven it, you know it has everything: views of Lake Superior, waterfalls, state parks and more. It really is one of the best road trips in the entire country!

Great Schools & The Great Outdoors

Livability goes on to list what else makes Duluth such a great place to live, citing our great schools and colleges, like UMD and Lake Superior College.

Of course, you can't talk about Duluth without mentioning the great outdoors, citing our hiking trails and mountain biking trails, along with all of the spots we have for winter activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. We really do have it all, don't we?

Livability cites our high-ranking health care facilities as part of what makes Duluth such a great place to live. These health care facilities, like the new Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center they mention, provide top care to locals and bring in job opportunities.
