A Unique Blend Of PBR And Grillo Pickles You Have To Try
I was sitting at home yesterday evening when I got a phone call from our friends Herman and Joyce. They were at the bar and were given some free samples of PBR's and Grillo Pickle's new beer. I was honored that I was the first person they thought of because of my love for pickles. We eat a lot of pickles in our house.
I love pickles, I love dill pickle chips, and even dill pickle sunflower seeds. To me, the two most important things in a Bloody Mary are pickles and meat sticks. They make or break it. So yes, I take pickles very seriously. Like the time I bought $40 worth of pickles from that place at the home show. Darn good pickles!
We tried it live on air for breakfast. I can't think of a better way to start your day than a pickle beer. As soon as you crack open the PBR can, you can smell dill. It's not super strong, but it does smell like when you open a jar of pickles.
It's very frothy, like PBR normally is. It doesn't look all that different from regular beer. Maybe it's a touch darker?
Taste-wise, everyone who tried it had the same response. It starts with a "oh that's interesting," followed by, "I could drink one or two of these, but not much more." I think it would be perfectly paired with a Bloody Mary. Or if you know what picklebacks are, that's when you drink pickle juice after a shot of tequila. This would work perfectly as a tequila chaser if you're weird and into that.
You can get PBR + Grillo's Pickle Beer for a limited time. It's worth checking out!
