Hermantown Native Rafe Carlson Drops New Song

In need of a good tune? Rafe Carlson has an ear worm for you in the form of a brand new song. He just released the song on Friday (October 6th) and debuted it on The Breakfast Club to celebrate.

The country-rock star has been making big waves in the music industry, namely in the Nashville area where he recently moved to make a name for himself in country music. Thankfully for us, he still returns home to Minnesota and the Northland to perform and play shows.

He even opened for Jon Pardi at Bayfront Festival Park earlier this summer! He has come a long way since he graduated from Hermantown High School back in 2017. A few years before, he picked up guitar and taught himself how to play!

All these years later and he is still killing it, releasing his best song yet. The song is called 'Never Look Back' and it is a rocking country-rock song that will be stuck in your head all weekend long!

Aside from just dropping the catchy song, he also explained the meaning behind the song and his inspiration for writing it. He wrote it a few years ago but felt it wasn't the right time to release it. With recent country songs taking on a bit of a rock edge, he felt like now was the perfect time to release it.
