2025 Duluth Area High School Football Radio Broadcast Schedule

Cooler days are starting to arrive, and with them, the high school athletics season is ready to fire up.

The Northland FAN 106.5 FM & 560 AM is excited to once again bring the Twin Ports area a full slate of high school football matchups as part of our 2025-2026 high school sports schedule.

FAN 106.5 Brand Manager Nick Cooper highlighted that the station is proudly bringing listeners more than 40 regular-season high school athletics events this upcoming season, plus applicable playoff appearances by area teams in section and state tournaments.

The season will kick off on Friday, August 29, with a football matchup between the Hermantown Hawks and Duluth Denfeld Hunters from Hermantown at 7 pm.

After the fall football season, the FAN 106.5 will also provide game broadcast coverage of boys and girls hockey and basketball during the winter season.

Cooper commented that he is proud to be able to offer such an extensive level of local sports coverage year-round, with the Duluth Harbor Monsters and Duluth Huskies during the summer months, along with high school athletics and Vikings Football through the fall and into the winter months.

Specifically, when it comes to high school athletics, being able to shine a light on the student-athletes sharing their passion on the field, court, or ice and give a means for classmates, friends, and family members to be able to listen to games on several platforms worldwide is something Cooper is particularly excited about.

All games will be available on traditional radio at 106.5 FM in the Twin Ports area, 560 AM across the Northland, as well as streaming everywhere via the station's website, the Northland FAN mobile app, or via smart speakers by asking to hear the FAN 106.5.

While the station is still working on finalizing the winter schedule, the fall slate of football games is ready, with 8 regular-season games on the schedule.
