Friday night was the Opening of the William A. Irvin Haunted Ship and I was lucky enough to be one of the first batch of people to go through on the tour.

I have long claimed that this is one of the best venues around for a "haunted" experience and know for a fact that some very strange things go on of the "paranormal type" go on all year long....and this time of year it is extra scary. You know it is going to be chilling when you hear screams the minute people walk inside, with so many twists and turns, up and down steps and flashing lights you can very disoriented very fast. Hat's off to all the volunteers and staff from the DECC that do such a great job putting this on every year. And for the people on the boat this past Friday night, I was  laughing the whole time because I was nervous/scared, not because I thought anything was remotely funny!! Yikes.. My recommendation is not for little kids, I saw adults shaking in their shoes!  Please bring a non-perishable food item for $1.00 off admission.
