Emmy Award-Winning Comedian Added To 2026 Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage Lineup

Every year, organizers for the Wisconsin State Fair aim to bring a big variety of entertainment to the the fair's Main Stage.

To this point, they've announced country acts, rock acts, pop acts, hip-hop acts, Contemporary Christian music acts, and now a big-name comedian has been added to the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair entertainment lineup.

Award-winning comedian and actor John Mulaney is the latest addition to the 2026 lineup, bringing laughs to what is already a pretty awesome looking lineup. Mulaney is the first non-music act announced for this year's Main Stage schedule.

John Mulaney is a four-time Emmy Award, Critics Choice award and WGA award-winning writer, comedian and actor. He wrote for Saturday Night Live for 6 years and has also hosted the show several times. In addition, he has several comedy specials, appearances in TV shows and movies.

Mulaney is bringing his "Mister Whatever" tour to the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair on Wednesday, August 12. The show will get going at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are available via the Wisconsin State Fair website for between $64 and $92 with a VIP package option for $317 that includes a premium ticket and a bundle of Mulaney merch.

Each ticket, no matter which option you select, also includes admission to the fair for the day of the show.

With this announcement, there is now only one open night without any announcement show of some kind yet for this year's Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage entertainment series. That date with the vacancy is Tuesday, August 11.
