Justin Bieber joined Ariana Grande at Coachella to perform "Sorry" together.

The Canadian pop star made his return to the stage during Grande's set on Sunday night (April 21) for the first time in two years. After bringing out NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, and Ma$e last week, the "thank u, next" singer had no plans to bring out a special guest for her second Coachella weekend. However, according to Grande, when she found out JB was at the festival, she decided to surprise fans with a late-minute duet.

"Coachella, I wasn't gonna bring any guests out tonight, but my friend Justin Bieber came all the way out to spend some time with y'all," she told the crowd. "And we thought it might be fun to do something for you guys. This was not planned at all. Thank you for being here Justin, we love you so much."

"I haven't been on stage in like two years. I had no idea I was going to be on the stage tonight. Absolutely no idea," Bieber told screaming fans after his performance. "So I had to get my groove back, I have to get my swag back, you know what I’m saying."

“And, by the way… album coming soon," he added.

Later on that night, Bieber took to Twitter to thank Grande and Coachella once again, writing, "That felt right. Love you."
