Kohl’s Cares/Essentia Health Free Life Jacket Giveaway

The Kohls Cares program is back again this year to help keep kids safe in the Northland , with a free Life Jacket giveaway!

Every year the Kohls store employees and team throw a great event to keep kids safe and through donations that they received, they will be giving away Life Jackets at no cost to kids in the community.  The event is going on Thursday June 12'th from 4p-6p in the Kohls Parking lot in Duluth.

They ask that all parents/guardians wishing to get a Life Jacket for their child,  must have your child with you to make sure they get fitted properly!

Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 1 to 14 and the fifth leading cause for people of all ages.

This event fills up very quickly, so people are urged to come to the event early, their is a free shuttle service provided from 3p-7p from the Hobby Lobby parking lot, and the Life Jackets are given away on a first come first serve basis until they are gone.
