WDIO reports Wisconsin based Kwik Trip announced on Tuesday that they have recalled Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits in an 8.25-ounce cup. The company said that customers who are allergic to cashews or almonds may have an reaction if they eat the product.

Kwik Trip stated that it recalled the product after they found out that a chocolate-covered cashew or almond was found in the granola mix from an outside supplier. Kwik Trip says it has removed the parfaits from its stores. I am a huge fan of the parfaits and was wondering why they were not on the shelf the other day, but that explains it and totally is understandable that they need to take these precautions.

Thankfully nobody has reported that they have become ill from the parfaits so far. The product was sold at Kwik Trip convenience stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa  with a sell-by date of 'on or before Dec. 6, 2018.' No word on whether they will continue to sell that brand or if and when they will return it to store shelves.
