The Land of 10,000 Lakes is home to a lot of different employers, providing jobs for millions of Minnesotans. But just which firms employ the most Minnesotans in 2025?

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) estimates that here in 2025, nearly 3,038,000 residents of the Bold North are currently employed. And of those who have a job, DEED notes that they're likely to work for a small business. According to the Small Business Administration, a small business employs fewer than 500 employees, DEED noted.

Here in Minnesota, over 94 percent of businesses are much smaller, employing fewer than 50 employees. And while they contribute greatly to Minnesota's economy, this list is about those *other* employers here in the Bold North: The companies who have a lot more than 500 employees.
