Other Popular Films with Live Orchestra Performances
Recently, films like Back to The Future, Lord of the Rings, and Jurassic Park have been popular choices for this type of event. In fact, the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSSO) just performed Jurassic Park in 2023.
DSSO Presents Star Wars: A New Hope
The DSSO announced that they are once again performing another John Williams score: Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The performance will take place on Saturday, May 10th, at 7 PM in the DECC Symphony Hall.

Get Your Tickets Before They're Gone
Tickets for the show are on sale now through the DSSO online box office. Prices range from $10 to $63. As of writing this, there aren't a ton of seats still available, so you better jump to light speed and lock yours down.
Why Isn't the Show on May the 4th?
If you're wondering why the show wasn't scheduled for the high holy Star Wars holiday, May 4th, a user on Reddit explained that they book the shows for the DSSO. Unfortunately, Symphony Hall had another event already scheduled for that day, so May 10th it is!
