Maintenance Work To Temporarily Close Portion Of East First Street On December 27

The city of Duluth will be temporarily closing a part of East 1st Street to get some maintenance work done. 

On Tuesday, December 27th from 9am-3 pm, East 1st Street will be closed to through traffic between North 4th Ave East and North 7th Ave East. A crane will be in place for maintenance work to be done on the roof of the Essentia Health parking ramp. Access to the parking ramp and the Essentia Health clinic on 1st Street will be open from 4th Ave East. The sidewalks on the lower side of First Street will also be open to public use but the upper side will be closed.
