Man Cited for Releasing Balloons to Impress Girlfriend
When it comes to how far their love will go, the sky is definitely not the limit.
Police in Dania Beach, Florida charged Anthony Brasfield, 40, after he released a dozen heart-shaped balloons in a romantic gesture towards his girlfriend in a Motel 6 parking lot. Romantic, indeed.
Brasfield was charged with polluting to harm humans, animals and plants under the Florida Air and Water Pollution Control Act. My, oh, my-lar.
Apparently, there are a bunch of endangered turtles and birds who reside in a nearby park and releasing the balloons posed a threat to them.
Guess you can say the whole incident left Brasfield feeling deflated.
