The entertainment tents for Grandma's Marathon are always a fun time, and the 2018 lineup won't disappoint. Sugar Ray headlines a full weekend of performances kicking off Friday night and wrapping up Saturday night.

Mark McGrath, lead singer of Sugar Ray, joined Jeanne and Cooper on Wednesday morning to preview Friday's show and talk about a bunch of other subjects. McGrath is an incredibly charismatic individual who has not only fronted a band for a couple decades, but has also acted, appeared on reality TV shows, and played the role of TV show host. That charisma shined through as he visited with us from the road, heading to their final show before heading to Duluth for Friday.

Among the subjects we discussed, Mark intimated that new music from the band may be on the way soon. We also looked back at his career to date, including an incredible story about where he was the first time he heard one of his songs on the radio and what his all-time favorite song(s) to perform are. Check out the full interview in the video above!

You can see Mark and the rest of Sugar Ray on Friday night in Canal Park for Grandma's Marathon weekend. They're set to take the stage around 9:15 on Friday night, following opening act Belfast Cowboys. If you're looking for tickets, you can grab them online here.
