Trainor’s Minnesota Connection

Trainor was just in Minnesota as one of the headliners at the 2025 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand, an appearance that felt like redemption after she was forced to cancel her 2015 Fair show due to a vocal cord injury.

She also has a deeper connection to the state: one of her biggest hits, Like I’m Gonna Lose You featuring John Legend, was co-written by Minnesota native Caitlyn Smith.

Trainor’s upcoming tour will also support a cause close to her heart. A portion of proceeds from the show will benefit The Trevor Project, a nonprofit dedicated to ending suicide among LGBTQ+ youth.
