Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport Ticketing Area Was Temporarily Evacuated Due to Bag Found Containing Explosives
Saturday brought a frightening scenario for thousands of passengers at The Minneapolis St.Paul International Airport, as the ticketing area had to be evacuated after an unclaimed bag was discovered.
According to KSTP-TV the bag was left at the United Ticket Counter on a weigh scale at 12:22pm. Many other airlines were affected and the Bloomington Bomb squad investigated and swabbed the bag which came up positive for explosives.
According to MSP officials the entire airport was reopened and business resumed as usual.
