Big Money At The 2024 MN State Fair
For many vendors, the two weeks of the Minnesota State Fair are what they work toward all year. Combined, the top 10 vendors made just over $17 million during the 2024 fair, and hopes are high for even bigger numbers in 2025.

The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal released the list of the highest-grossing vendors from the 2024 Great Minnesota Get-Together, and it’s no surprise that the fair’s favorite cookies dominated sales.

Sweet Martha’s Cookie Empire
Sweet Martha’s Cookies, with three locations at the fair, sold just under $5 million worth of chocolate chip cookies during the 2024 fair, making it the top vendor by far.
Coming in a distant second were the iconic Pronto Pup stands. With eight locations around the fairgrounds, they brought in $2.3 million in sales. In third place, and the only vendor in the top five with a single location, was Mouth Trap Cheese Curds, serving up $1.6 million worth of deep-fried cheese in 2024.
The Perfect Pickle, Fresh French Fries, the American Dairy Association of the Midwest, Corn Roast, and Que Viet all pulled in between $1 million and $1.5 million during the 2024 fair. Rounding out the list were Carousel BBQ with $933,000 and The Blue Barn with $866,000.
Who Will Take the Top Spot in 2025?
What will the 2025 Minnesota State Fair top 10 look like? Will Sweet Martha’s continue her dominance, or will a new contender rise to claim the crown? Odds are the cookie empire will remain strong, but at the Great Minnesota Get-Together, surprises are always possible.
