Minnesota State High School League Votes To Postpone Football and Volleyball Games To The Spring
The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) had some mixed emotions with voting for fall sports season in Minnesota due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The votes are in and the decision is to move Football and Volleyball to the Spring of 2021.
Some of the board members had voiced a concern about a spring volleyball season could interfere with some club volleyball leagues. Some other issues that were discussed were how this could impact several other activities, including band, cheer, spring dance, and other spring sports, particularly for multi-sport athletes. So, some spring sports might be pushed later as a result.

With each individual district in the state deciding on whether students will return to school full time, part time or with at home learning sports and other activities are going to be a big issue for many students. For more details click here.
