With Minnesota being the land of 10,000 (and more!) lakes, it is no surprise that there are a lot of great restaurants and bars that are on the shores of some of these lakes.
While there is a huge number of establishments that offer lakeside views, not nearly as many can be accessed from the water. That said, there are still a sizable number of restaurants and bars you can boat right up to and enjoy.
Whether they have their own docks or they're near a marina, the list of options is pretty extensive.
Being I grew up in an area where there are a solid handful of awesome boat-up restaurants, I got to wondering what some of the best options are around the state. I dug around online and looked at reviews on platforms like Yelp and Google to see how places rated around Minnesota and narrowed down the list to some of the best-rated options in the state.

While this is by no means a complete list of every single boat-up option in the state, it is what reviewers say are the best places worth visiting around Minnesota. They range from popular lakes like Minnetonka in the Twin Cities to lakes in the Brainerd Lakes Area, but span way beyond that to cover spots around most of the state.
