The Pine County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding the person or people responsible for a recent crime in the area.

According to a post on their Facebook page Wednesday (April 15th), the Harvest Christian School in Sandstone was broken into and in return, several items, including checks and electronics, were stolen from the property.

The incident occurred sometime between Monday, April 13th and Wednesday, April 15th.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call the Pine County Sheriff's Office at 320-629-8380 and ask for Deputy M. Anderson.

Crime rates are not going down amid COVID-19. The Minnesota State Patrol recently shared they've seen an uptick in "extreme speeding" since the pandemic began, with motorists going as fast as 106 mph.

There are also several scams circulating amid the pandemic as well. For example, the FTC recently issued a warning about scammers pretending to be an employee from the SSA in an effort to take your money and personal information.
