We've got some amazing and beautiful places around Minnesota to explore. The man-made places that we have can be so cool but today I wanted to focus on our naturally beautiful spots in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

My husband and I love getting out into nature and going on hikes, going camping, or hitting the water. I also love being able to share those beautiful, natural spots around our state with others.

That's why I put together a list of some of the most scenic spots in Minnesota. This is definitely not a comprehensive list but it's some spots that you need to visit if you've never been.

Some of the Most Scenic Places in Minnesota

I put together this list based on my own personal opinion, ideas from a blog called The Crazy Tourist, and beautiful pictures I found on Unsplash of places around Minnesota.

Beaver Bay is located past Duluth along the shores of Lake Superior. The town is really cute plus the views of the lake are amazing.

Boundary Waters

There's no question, of course the Boundary Waters Canoe Area was going to make this list!

Another spot north of Duluth. The falls are incredible and the hiking in the area is great, too.

I had never heard of the Kadunce River but I spotted the above picture on Unsplash and I thought it looked beautiful. It's in the small town of Colvill, which is just north of Grand Marais along Lake Superior.

Amongst all of the craziness of the Twin Cities is beautiful Minnehaha Falls. If you've never been, you need to go! Plus there are some great restaurants in the area.

I had to put the Mississippi River in general on the list because Minnesota is where the Mighty Mississippi begins! So you could experience the river from its start in Itasca State Park or you can see all of its beauty further south in the state. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Sugar Loaf Bluff

Temperance River is part of Temperance River State Park, which is along Lake Superior north of Duluth. You can take in some great views of the river along the hiking trails.
