Mysterious Ice Formation Photographed on Lake Superior

Vista Fleet captured an incredible photo of a very unique and mysterious ice formation on Lake Superior.

The photos were posted on Facebook of plates of ice stacked in a very precise and organized fashion.

Vista Fleet asked for help explaining the formation but little insight was given. Some suggested maybe it was an "ice pancake" or maybe even aliens.

But as one comment pointed out, there are several footprints around the formation possibly suggesting the formation was human-made.
