Minnesota’s New Amphitheater Debuts With a Monster Lineup
Minnesota is home to some fantastic, world-class music venues, but for years there has been one glaring gap in the live music landscape. The state lacked a truly large, modern outdoor amphitheater capable of hosting the biggest tours on the road.
That long wait is officially over.
A Long-Awaited Outdoor Concert Destination in Minnesota
The new Mystic Lake Amphitheater looks like the venue live music fans across Minnesota have been asking for. With a capacity of 19,000 seats, similar in size to Target Center, the amphitheater is designed to bring arena-level tours outdoors. It anchors a new entertainment district that will include restaurants, bars, nightlife, and housing, turning concert nights into full destination experiences.

Live Nation is managing the venue, and it is clear they are wasting no time. The first wave of concert announcements already spans genres and generations, aiming squarely at fans across Minnesota and the broader Midwest.
From classic rock to modern pop and heavy metal, the debut season lineup is honestly mind-blowing. For many fans, this will be their first chance to experience a major outdoor concert under the stars in Minnesota, if the weather cooperates, of course.
Stacked Inaugural Season For Minnesota's Newest Venue
The inaugural season includes heavy hitters like Dave Matthews Band, Chris Stapleton, Guns N' Roses, Five Finger Death Punch, Motley Crue, and Pitbull with Lil Jon.
Tickets for all announced shows are on sale now, with several dates already sold out. More announcements are expected as February and March approach, which could make this first season even bigger.
Here is the complete list of artists coming to what will be Minnesota’s largest outdoor amphitheater for its first season. If this opening year is any indication, Minnesota may be entering a new golden age of live music.
