REVIEW: Duluth’s AMSOIL Arena Unveils 6 New Foods For 2025-2026 Season

Every year, the food team at the DECC unveils a handful of new foods ahead of the hockey season at AMSOIL Arena.

Over the years, there have been some trendy foods and buzzworthy, unique creations that the team has developed for fans at games and events at Duluth's biggest event venue.

This year was a "back to basics" event, with DECC Executive Director Dan Hartman explaining that their team has learned that while the venue has cooked up some amazing things over the years, it seems "People don't want fancy or trendy foods" when they come to events at AMSOIL.

Hartman said they've seen how and where people spend their money when attending events at AMSOIL and the DECC, and used that information to develop their plans for this year.

In response to those findings, the culinary staff focused on taking some comfort food classics to the next level.

Examples of that include reinventing a classic pizza and taking some at-home or restaurant appetizers and snacks to the next level for in-arena eating.

In all, AMSOIL Arena is adding 6 new items to this year's menu. Following the trend of "comfort foods", you've probably had some version of each of these before. There aren't any new inventions this year. Despite that, the DECC's food team did a great job of making each of these items memorable, and feeling like way more than a generic sports venue food.

All of the foods below will be available for the 2025-2026 hockey season at AMSOIL Arena. Some of the items will also be available at select concerts and other events.
