Yes summer is starting to heat up nicely with some fresh music from a variety of artists across the board. Here is a highlight of just a few:

1.) Adam Lambert : “The Original High” (guests: Brian May, Tove Lo) this album is causing quite a buzz with his more mature sound, Lambert said that he recorded this album during breaks from touring with Queen.

2.) Nate Ruess (of Fun.): “Grand Romantic” After this release it has to make you wonder If Nate Ruess is done with the group Fun after all his solo success. For some reason I seem to like his voice more in the group. I guess I am in the minority on that one.

3.) Third Eye Blind :“Dopamine” (their first album in six years)  I love these guys and I am not afraid to admit it. I am not a huge rocker type person, so this band is just the right formula for me.

Other Releases This Week:

-Jill Scott - “Golden Moments: Jill Scott’s Greatest Hits” (includes the previously unreleased “I Adore You”)

-Buggles : “The Age of Plastic (Collector’s Edition)” (1980 album, including “Video Killed the Radio Star”; remastered, with three bonus tracks)

-Rush : “Permanent Waves [200-gram vinyl]” (1980 album; remastered)
