Spring is in the air and so is some really diverse music this week. Yes Jamie Foxx can sing for those of you not in the know, fingers crossed The National Anthem is not on this album though.

1.) Zedd :“True Colors” (guests: Selena Gomez, Echosmith, Logic, Jon Bellion, Troye Sivan)  These last 2 years have become the year of the Club D.J. teaming up with artists to do the vocals and bam instant hit. Nobody knows for sure If Zedd and Selena Gomez were a thing before or after she collaborated with him on this latest project, but really what does it matter? He is still light years better than Justin Bieber !

2.) Brandon Flowers (of The Killers)     “The Desired Effect”  - Brandon has such a haunting sound to his voice that it really sets him apart from other artists who breaks free of a group. I love his 80's and 90's influence with the Killers and glad that he continues with that style on his solo gig.

3.) Jamie Foxx : “Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses-Coming off his controversial version of him singing The National Anthem, this is is his first album in five years. Jamie joked on Jimmy Kimmel that he felt rushed to have this album out and was struggling to come up with some material that would be as successful as his last albums. But, with the help of some great young writers he feels that it was worth the wait.

4.) Mariah Carey  :“Mariah Carey #1 To Infinity” (18 of her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, plus the new single “Infinity”) Even though record executive L.A. Reid said he is grateful to radio for playing her new song, because older artists have to compete with the new up and comers. Well, not exactly L.A., but you are entitled to your opinion.

Other Releases Out This Week:

- Faith No More : “Sol Invictus”

-Sammy Hagar and the Circle :“At Your Service” (band members include Michael Anthony and Jason Bonham; live album, featuring Van Halen and solo hits)

-Whitesnake : “The Purple Album”
