New Poll Suggests Minnesotans Want Al Franken To Stay In Office
Public Policy Polling's latest poll finds that Minnesotans don’t think Al Franken should resign from the US Senate even after the sexual harassment allegations. Do you agree?
Public Policy Polling conducts surveys for politicians & political organizations, unions, consultants, and businesses. The poll has 50% of voters who think he should not resign and 42% who think he should go through with his planned resignation. 52% of independent voters also think he shouldn't resign.
Al Franken is set to officially resign next Tuesday, Jan. 2 after numerous women claimed he was sexual inapporiate towards them.
The survey interviewed 671 Minnesota voters on December 26th and 27th and the survey’s margin of error is +/-3.8%. Governor Mark Dayton appointed Tina Smith to fill Franken's seat. After hearing the results of this poll, do you think Al Franken should still resign?
