I know for a fact that even the most disciplined health conscious adults out there like to splurge every once in a while and go off the normal food routine and have an indulges treat.  And for the rest of us that try to eat right, but love food this place is right up your alley.

Hotbox Duluth will be a to go only restaurant that as they call it, will be serving kids lunches for adults. Some of the menu items include Swedish meatballs, cheesy hash browns, and deep-fried pickle roll ups. No the kitchen is not being run by a bunch of 12 year old's but an adult with a great imagination.

Rob Abrahamson is the chef and owner of Hotbox which will be housed in the Zeitgeist kitchen that has sat dormant and been for rent since it temporarily closed last year. At a time when other businesses are struggling to stay afloat during this pandemic Abrahamson has decided that now is as good a time of any to try this out. He said:

I know so many restaurants, so many other business owners are having such a hard time and it's weird to like start something during this but, it just worked out so perfect for me. I've been waiting for this opportunity for 15-20 years now, so I'm just going to go for it.

Hotbox is located at 222 East Superior Street and you can check them out on Facebook. I am guessing by the look of their website that the menu might change on a weekly basis. One thing that is that they hope to be open for take-out meals Wednesdays and Saturdays by the end of this month. I say more power to you Rob, this is a really cool concept and definitely sets you apart from any other place around the area.
