After about ten years of not having a toy store, the Miller Hill Mall will have one once again. Legacy Toys will start building soon.

Brad and Mistaya Ruoho, owners of Legacy Toys in Ely, MN will open up shop in the old Dollar Store location next to Sears by the food court. The store will be the first full fledged toy store since KB Toys in ten years. The Ruoho's just signed a ten year lease and begin building soon.

They have so much planned for the 3,200 square feet location including a small rain forest kingdom with trees and a rope bridge, a pet adoption area for adopting stuffed animals, an old west store and even a demonstration area to teach people how to play new games. There will also be a nostalgic candy store with =in the toy store with it's own walls and roof.

I'm a huge kid at heart and I'm excited to see what this new toy store has in store for the Northland. I'm also excited for my daughters (4 and 1) to have another toy store to explore and have fun in. You can get more information from an article from the Duluth News Tribune and let me know what you think of a toy store coming back to the mall in the comments below.
