Over the past decade, owls have started taking over the small Minnesotan town of Houston and now they will have an International Owl Center.

Karla Bloem, head of the Houston Nature Center learned that 12 out of the 19 species of owls in this continent live in Minnesota and most of them in Houston. After doing some research she found out there were no international owl centers, so why not Houston?

The Owl Center is now open and people from all over come to visit which surprises the locals. You can read the full story here and let me know what you think of having an International Owl Center in Minnesota in the comments below.
