This is absolutely wild! It sounds like a sequel to the movie 'Snake On A Plane', but this flight from Minnesota to Wisconsin would be called 'Pigeons On A Plane'.

The routine Delta flight from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport to Dane County Regional Airport in Madison descended into chaos after two pigeons boarded the plane with the passengers.

Double Trouble: Pigeons Ground a Minnesota Delta Flight

The incident happened Saturday as the flight was about to depart for Madison when two pigeons took flight inside the cabin of the plane, forcing the plane to return to the gate twice as the birds were trying to be captured.

One of the birds was caught by a member of the ground crew, and the other was caught by a passenger. The second capture was caught on video as the male passenger takes a jacket to catch the bird in flight, and judging by the screaming of some passengers, it was a scary moment.

All's Well That Ends Well for Pigeons and Passengers

In the end, both birds were captured and released, and the flight got underway. The delay was about an hour, and Delta says they "apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel."

Tom Caw, the passenger that caught the video of the second capture, recalls on Instagram, "Pilot said when he radioed the control tower about us coming back due to a pigeon, the guy said that was a first for him. Pilot told him it was the second time for him—the first being half an hour earlier."

Thankfully, all the passengers, crew, and birds made it off the plane safely, and all those travelers have one of the most memorable travel stories of all time.

Tour Minnesota's Fanciest Mini Golf Course - The Centennial Lakes Putting Course

While they won't call it a mini golf course, it kind of is. This 18-hole course boasts all real grass playing surfaces, natural obstacles like sand traps, boulders, and water, just like a real golf course.

The whole course looks and feels like a shrunken golf course, and it plays like one, too! The holes are long! The shortest hole is 57 feet, the longest is 125 feet, and the whole 18-hole course plays 1,662 feet.

This is no ordinary mini golf course!

9 Unlikely New Names for Minnesota's Xcel Energy Center

After 25 years, Xcel Energy is stepping away from its naming rights deal with the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. A new sponsor is expected to sign a long-term, high-dollar agreement to rename the arena with the Minnesota Wild.

While several major brands are rumored to be in the running, we couldn’t help but think of some uniquely Minnesota companies that would make amazing (and hilarious) naming rights partners—if only they had the budget or interest.
