Pizza Lucé Battles Sammy’s Pizza for Best in Minnesota
Minnesota Monthly magazine is wrapping up its Pizza Madness bracket competition to decide the best pizza restaurant in Minnesota, and two Duluth pizza joints are in the championship.
Pizza Lucé is taking on Sammy's Pizza in the championship round of voting, the voting started on June 18th and the two championship teams have beat popular restaurants like Red’s Savoy, Davanni’s, Fat Lorenzo’s and several others.
Pizza Lucé was founded in 1993 and has seven locations in Minnesota, and has won several awards for its amazing pizza. Sammy's Pizza was founded in Hibbing in 1954 and currently has 12 locations in Minnesota and a few in neighboring states, like Superior, WI, and has also won a variety of awards for its pizza.
This is a tough choice, I'm not sure who to vote for, I love Sammy's Special pizza, but I also can't get enough of Lucé's Bear pizza or the Baked Potato Pizza, I guess I'll have to visit each before voting ends to help me decide.
Voting ends at 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 29th. Get your vote in here for your favorite.
