Saturday June 2 is the 25th Annual Walk For Animals

This years Walk for Animals is poised to be bigger and better then ever with lot's of additional activities taking place throughout the day. The Walk for Animals is one of the really big fundraisers for the Humane Society all year long and you don't have to have an animal to come do the walk or the new 5K, just come on down and enjoy all the vendors and activities

The 26th Annual Walk for Animals is Saturday June 2nd from 9am-2pm at Bayfront Festival Park. This is the largest pet friendly event all summer and all pets are welcome!

The walk will start out in beautiful Bayfront Festival Park  taking walkers across Rail Road Street to discover a special section of trail connecting the Lake Walk and Munger trails and back to Bayfront again. And new this year will be the Furry Fun Run 5K race. This race is timed and runners will receive special race bibs! NEW  this year  for the first 100 runners to cross the finish line will receive a special Furry 5K medal.

Race packet pick up is May 31st and June 1st from 12:00-6:00 pm at Animal Allies Humane Society (4006 Airport Road, Duluth). Race packets will be available behind the front desk of the adoption center.

Event festivities include vendor & sponsor booths, the Animal Allies retail shop (proceeds benefit shelter pets), food trucks, petting zoo, games and activities for pets, and family activities including; face painting, photo booth, bouncy house, climbing wall, and pet readings by Lady Ocalat!
