The Minnesota Secretary of State released the results of a statewide mock election for President with high school students, here is how Duluth area schools voted.
Minnesota Students Vote 2016 had over 77,000 students across the state cast a mock ballot for U.S. President, and the results are in.
Statewide, Donald Trump was the winner with 34.97% of the votes. Hillary Clinton was the runner-up with 32.89% of the ballots cast. Locally the results were different; Clinton was the winner, with 55.28% of the vote, Trump got 44.72% of the local total.
Only Hermantown High School gave Trump the win, all other Duluth area schools went to Clinton. Here is the breakdown of each participating area school:
