Some kids are wise beyond their years, and can show a thing or two to us adults. One 9 year old St. Paul boy is one of those kids.

Ethan Flint is a Fourth Grader who loves animals of all kinds and when he heard that some K-9 officers had vests and some don't he did not think that was fair. So he decided to start a cause with his latest birthday to pledge all of his birthday money to the St. Paul Police K-9 unit to help get a vest for one of the dogs.

His donation of $1,200 will be a huge help towards the $2,600 needed for one vest. Ethan has also helped out many other organizations in the past including our very own Lake Superior Zoo after the flood. I predict Ethan has a very bright future ahead of him, and good luck to your future fundraisers to help more animals!
