Stimulate Our Local Economy: Take Part in a “Cash Mob” This Weekend

The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second Cash Mob this Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 pm. This month's group will "mob" the one of a kind Fannie Rose Candy Shop in Downtown Duluth.

What is a cash mob? Combine the popular concept of a flash mob with the growing model of Small Business Saturdays and you'll create an optimistic stimulus to the local economy.

Fannie Rose has pledged to donate 20% of Saturday's cash mob proceeds to Kids Closet of Duluth, a local not for profit serving low income Head Start and elementary school children in need of clothing for regular school attendance.
