The DTA is hoping that adding an additional day to the specially designed "Grocery Express"  will make it more convenient for commuters to use the service.

Grandma's Marathon is this week and like every year, it will be busy. On the plus side, the shuttle boarding times have been announced.

The Duluth Transit Authority started its grocery express back in September and have decided the program needs more time before a final decision is made.

The Duluth Transit Authority just announced it’s holiday service schedule for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Here’s the time schedule for when the last buses will run on Christmas Eve.

The DTA has teamed up again this year with the college of St. Scholastica and National Bank of Commerce to offer Free rides on Thanksgiving and also free shuttle service to the DECC.

Due to these two stops being deemed unsafe for boarding and waiting for busses, the stops will be removed and the DTA has made alternative suggestions for riders.

There has been a demand for a public bus to not only bring people to the grocery store, but also to help accommodate grocery designated areas on the bus.

Just after 5 am Tuesday morning two Duluth Transit Authority buses collided on Superior Street, sending several passengers to the hospital and leading Superior Street between 4th Avenue West and 6th Avenue West to be closed.

The Duluth Transit Authority has suspended all regular routes and STRIDE services due to ice-covered streets. The DTA will implement their emergency mainline service immediately, which will offer service along the Superior Street and Grand Avenue corridor until other routes are deemed safe enough for travel up and down hillside routes.
