You may have visited my Dad as a kid and told him what presents you wanted! Either way I think everyone can relate to these holiday memories.

The old Laura MacArthur Elementary School was demolished in 2012. I found a video that showed some pics of the old school, and took a trip down memory lane.

Sugar Daddy's was a gentleman's club in Cloquet, Minnesota before it was replaced by a Kwik Trip. The old club was featured in a short film titled 'Duluth'.

The Manitou Valley campground in Superior opened up in the 1960's for families to make fun outdoor memories. Check out this video of the abandoned area.

If you grew up in the Duluth/Superior area in the 70's or early 80's, the Santa you visited was likely my dad. For me it was extra special.

I love seeing how much can change over time. I recently stumbled upon a video from a tour on the Vista King over looking Downtown Duluth and Canal Park over 30 years ago, check it out.

It's very interesting to see what kind of changes can happen over time. I grew up in West Duluth and recently found a video of a drive on Grand Avenue over 30 years ago. Let's compare the differences shall we?

The hardest job on the planet hands down. I still am in awe of how my Mom did it.  5 kids are you kidding?  She had help from my dad of course, but  thinking back what an amazing woman with an incredibly hard job.
