Sugar Daddy's was a gentleman's club in Cloquet, Minnesota before it was replaced by a Kwik Trip. The old club was featured in a short film titled 'Duluth'.

Technically the gentleman's club was in Scanlon, but Google has the address in Cloquet. The club was located at 1318 Minnesota-45 and opened in 1997 under the name 'Centerfolds'.

There were protests from community members when the club opened up. Eventually it changed ownership and became Sugar Daddy's until it closed back in 2014. The club along with Gramma Polo's Bottle Shoppe, and The Pantry Restaurant closed and were demolished to make room for a new Polo's Bottle Shoppe and a Kwik Trip.

The short film was written and directed by Nicole Brending. The film received 'Best Short Under 12 Minutes', 'Best Editing', and 'Faculty Honors" at the 2010 Columbia University Film Festival and was entered in numerous festivals around the world. Brending is still receiving awards at festivals for her short films including: winning the 'Silver Saint George' for Best Film in the Short Film Competition at the 38th Moscow International Film Festival for her film 'Selfied'.

Back in 2010, she wrote and directed a short film tilted 'Duluth' that was shot at Sugar Daddy's. The film is rated mature on Vimeo and is very NSFW. The plot:

A small town stripper tries to finish her shift dancing for the old men that patron the club after finding out that her grandfather died.

You can watch the roughly 8 minute long short, here. Another reminder, it is NSFW as there is explicit language and nudity shown. However, if you want to check it out and want to remember what the club looked like, that's on you.
