The City of Duluth Parks and Rec is preparing a Mini-Master Plan for the Cross City Trail, a continuous multi-use trail that will extend from the western end of the Lakewalk to Becks Road.

The city of Duluth and the Lake Superior Zoological Society have finally reached a compromise on the future of the Lake Superior Zoo and Fairmount Park.

The second community meeting will be held next week to discuss the future of two parks and the public is welcomed to join and even voice their opinions.

Both Irving Community Center and Memorial Park Recreation Centers have been torn down, so where will the new rec center go?

The fall Parks and Recreation sponsored skating sessions held at the Heritage Sports Center will begin on Wednesday, September 12th. Skating will be held from 6:30-8:00 PM every week until the end of May.
