Television reporter Bombarded by Giant Bugs During News Cast [VIDEO]

It happens every few years when giant nasty bugs called, Cicadas  come up from under the ground and can cause great distress for anyone they land on, including this poor girl trying to report on a story.

KSNT Reporter Katya Leick is in Kansas and was trying to do a report from one of the military bases, when a few of these gross giant bugs kept landing on her. Thankfully she was not reporting live, as she had to do many takes before she could get through her report.

Cicadas are know for their loud calling sounds and also have a 17 year hatch cycle and come up from the ground. So far this year they have crept from Texas to as far North as Iowa, but have not hit Minnesota or Wisconsin just yet.  Fingers crossed they stay South.
